CPCT Typing Test Online Free Practice

The CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology (MAP_IT) for the MP state government. This certification is mandatory for all state government posts in Madhya Pradesh that require computer operation. The typing component tests candidates at 8000 keystrokes per hour (KDPH), which is equivalent to approximately 27 words per minute.

The CPCT typing test is conducted in both English and Hindi. For English, candidates must type using the standard QWERTY keyboard layout. For Hindi, candidates must use the Inscript keyboard layout with Mangal Unicode font. The test duration is 15 minutes, and candidates must maintain this speed throughout.

Our CPCT typing test practice includes 30+ passages carefully designed to match actual CPCT exam content — general knowledge, administrative language, and current affairs-style passages. Start practicing with our CPCT mode today: select CPCT from the Category menu and set your timer to 15 minutes.

CPCT Typing Tips: Focus on accuracy first. Even at 8000 KDPH, one error can reduce your net score significantly. Practice Hindi typing with Mangal font if applying for Hindi medium posts. Visit the official CPCT website for the complete syllabus.

SSC CHSL Typing Test Practice Online

The SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to posts like LDC (Lower Division Clerk), JSA (Junior Secretariat Assistant), PA (Postal Assistant), and SA (Sorting Assistant). The typing test is a skill test (qualifying in nature) that must be passed after clearing the written rounds.

For English typing, candidates must achieve 35 Words Per Minute (WPM). For Hindi typing, the requirement is 30 Words Per Minute. The test duration is 10 minutes and is conducted on computers provided at examination centres. Errors are penalized at 5% of gross speed.

SSC CHSL typing uses standard QWERTY layout for English. For Hindi, candidates can choose between Inscript and Remington (GAIL) keyboard layouts. Most candidates preparing in Hindi prefer the Remington layout as it is more similar to typewriter layouts they may already know.

Visit the SSC official website for the latest notification. Our SSC CHSL practice mode is calibrated to the exact difficulty level of actual SSC passages.

Mangal Font Hindi Typing Test Online Free

Mangal is a Unicode Devanagari font developed by Microsoft, now the standard font for Hindi typing in all modern Indian government examinations. Unlike legacy fonts like KrutiDev which use ANSI encoding, Mangal uses Unicode — meaning the text can be stored, shared, and displayed correctly across all platforms and operating systems.

For Hindi typing with Mangal font, two keyboard layouts are commonly used: Inscript (the official government standard) and Remington Gail (adapted for those familiar with typewriter layout). The Inscript layout is phonetically logical and easier to learn from scratch. Remington Gail is preferred by those switching from KrutiDev typing.

Government exams requiring Mangal Unicode typing include CPCT, High Court Stenographer exams, SSC CHSL Hindi option, and most state-level PSC examinations. Our Mangal typing practice includes 50+ authentic Hindi passages in Unicode Devanagari script for effective preparation.

Railway NTPC Typing Test Preparation

The RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) examination includes a typing skill test for Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Account Clerk Cum Typist, and Traffic Assistant posts. Candidates who qualify the Computer Based Test (CBT) are called for the typing test as a final qualifying round.

The Railway typing test requires 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi. The test is conducted for 10 minutes on official computers. Error rate is a critical factor — no more than 5% errors are generally acceptable.

Practice regularly with our Railway NTPC mode. We provide texts similar to actual railway exam passages covering administrative language, general correspondence, and official communication formats. Check the RRB official website for current notifications.
